A Year That Was

Many feelings, emotion... things. We rediscovered and repositioned ourselves at the beginning of the year and marched forward to establish our place in the world of technology. So, if we had to put a name to it, here's a look at everything that transpired in 2018.

Incredible.

We have one word for you. DREAMFORCE. It was everything we hopes it would be and some more. With the Trailblazers, the interactions, the innovations, the sheer energy at the event, there is no better word to describe it. Then there was the over the top amazing shenanigans at Dreamforce itself. The Einstein Park, The Developer Forest, et all! But what really set this event apart from others was Unnat's presentation on Salesforce DX with Anji. It was perfection.

Successful.

From Malware Bytes to Lyft to Cypress Semi-Conductors to Five9 to DAFZA to many more illustrious names, we had some happy success stories. Salesforce Community Cloud Implementation with Lightning Bolt to Oracle HCM Implementation with Oracle eBusiness Suite to Enterprise CRM, we have done it all and done it well. Check out our Happy Client Testimonials here.

Humbling.

Being invited to speak among peers from one's Alumni is always a humbling experience. To be acknowledged and identified as someone who is transforming the technological horizon is even more so. This year Anji Maram was invited to speak at BITS Bilani Alumni's BITSYNC 2018. It was a wonderful evening.

A Beginning.

We now have new branches in San Jose, San Ramon, Dallas, Chicago, Dubai and Bangalore. It sure feels great to be able to reach out to our customers and clients on a much more one-on-one basis. We have increased our team strength, extending our partnership with experienced consultants numerous times to solve technological challenges.

Informative.

The Dreamforce Journey started at Trailblazers in Hyderabad. We had been working on Salesforce for quite some time, but the magnitude of how our contributions matter was obvious to us at the Trailblazers held in Hyderabad. The questions asked by fellow developers, the interactions, debates with the like-minded, it was enlightening.

Happy.

We started the concept of Employee Spotlight to introduce our employees to the world, our way of showing that we are proud of our team and want the world to know these incredible folks. We also had a whole slew of internal events and activities that has managed to bring us closer.

Engaging.

From the various User Group Engagement to other speaking opportunities, we have been busy engaging with clients, partners, peers and experts across the globe. Its an enriching experience that has helped shape our strategic thinking, nudging us towards adopting technology at every turn.

Popular.

From Press Releases to media coverage of Anji, CriticalRiver was covered on various spaces across the Oracle and Salesforce sphere. From small parties to interesting meetups, we were everywhere and on purpose.

Good.

They say we can save the best for last, well, here's our best. We turned Platinum for a great cause! CIO magazine conducts an Annual Charity Golf Tournament every year to help economically disadvantaged college students attending two and four year colleges in the Bay Area who are pursuing degrees in IT and computer science related fields and this year, we became a part of this esteemed journey and helped raise about $750,000 in student scholarships, tutoring programs. And that's a wrap. Shall we move on? Here's to an incredible 2019!
